The success of the Tide Minnow Slim 175 has prompted Duo's designers to go one step further.
Merely scaling up the size would adversely affect the lure's performance, so they went back to the drawing board and designed the 200mm model from scratch.
A new tapered body cross-section and a tightened head and tail reduces the strain on the angler. The Tide Minnow Slim 200 is a minnow with almost limitless potential. Fish it shallow with a jerky retrieve for species such as flathead, or take it to the next level chasing mulloway, threadfin slamon, barra and more around weed beds and drop offs!
The Tide Minnow Slim 200 had had the height of its body adjusted to reduce air resistance as well as the perception of size. The lip has been fixed into the lure to create a very sharp action that fish love, while a brass weight is located just behind the lip for perfect lure balance. Additionally two 6mm tungsten balls and a 6mm stainless steel ball are located in a track that allows these balls to roll to the tail during casting for extra distance and stability in the air, and then roll forward when the retrieve starts to give the lure an ability to hang in to the water like few other long minnows.
