In the predator fishing scene, one of the most needed lures was a tough, shad-type lure that can handle hits and bites from some of the most aggressive fish in the world.

Casting distance was also one of the challenges that needed to be overcome in the development of the Fangshad 140SR, a period that spanned nearly four years.

The Realis Fangshad 140SR is a heavy duty floating lure made for heavy duty targets. One of its main advantages is its superior casting distance for the type of lure it is. The Fangshad will fly further than you ever thought possible!

While other lures may have a bib that makes retrieves challenging, the Fangshad has a clever lip design that reduces drag through the water, giving the angler a smooth and easy retrieve - until the monster strikes!

Like all Fang Ops lures, the Fangshad 140SR has thickened walls and a reinforced inner structure to withstand attacks from large fish. Its oversized hook eyes are designed to accommodate heavy duty gear. A thick wire runs through the body, secured by steel pins. In the worst case scenario, your catch will still be secured.

Featuring relatively tall sides, emphasising its large volume, the lure will give off maximised flashing to get bit from large, predatory fish.

The Fangshad 140SR is great for all manner of predatory fish. Papuan bass, barramundi, coral trout, mulloway and Murray cod will all love attacking this lure. The lure will move through the water with a snappy vertical roll.

With a simple retrieve you can control the range of the lure. A slow retrieve will keep the lure closer to the surface, while a faster retrieve will push it down to about 1.8m.
